Music for the Danish animation Piggy
I had previously made music for R.S. Söderström’s short film. This was our first collaboration on a longer project.
We recorded the music in the same studio as the feature film Bekas. I recorded the music in layers with the power of 11 string players. By layering takes with different microphone setups, I was able to create the sound of a large orchestra, but I was also able to drop into a more intimate chamber orchestra and string quartet sound if needed.
This is one of my favorite works and I really like the end result.
